Hartz has hit many local stages as well including the Rolling stone acclaimed 5th best venue in the U.S., The orange peel, multiple times. I believe that ideas are like aliens or spirit inhabitants of this world that are dying to be born. If you can stay open and out of the way enough to let the ideas through, you truely get to experience something greater than yourself, and it will come out in the art. I was lucky enough to have this exerience at Echo Mountain and I'm very much looking forward to recording my next album. The family at Echo made me feel completely comfortable and at home. It would be a totally different record if it had been recorded anywhere else."   Hartz is already currently writing his next album and is set to begin recording again as soon as the summer tour season begins to chill out. Hartz writes from the soul drawing from his colorful life of travel, food, family, humanity, and self-discovery. he resides in mills river, north carolina, just south of the sweet, quirky, quaintness of asheville, very near both of his brothers, and just down the road from mom and dad.
